WTD: laptop with wireless for under �350
On both 'A' and the laptop the wireless network is showing as connected: the laptop picking up the name of A's wireless network connection and indicating a strong signal. However I cannot even ping from one computer to the other, and inded the laptop is showing that no data has even been been sent.

If someone else on a different computer is trying it doesn't do it it is only on my computer. The modem loses the cable light and will knock off the rest of the cpu's trying to use it but it is only performing the problem when i am using my laptop to download the movies and or songs from a peer to peer program.
